Welcome to the Connecticut Gay and Lesbian Chamber (CTGLC) home page. You have just arrived at THE place for all business related information and support for the LGBT and allied business community. What a vibrant, energetic and successful community we are! With your involvement and interaction, Connecticut’s LGBT and allied business community will continue to prosper and grow to the level of the largest and most influential business organization within the state. We, the LGBT and allied business community, have a loud voice. Let us use it collectively to make a difference for all of us. I am honored to serve as President of the Board of Directors of CTGLC. Our Board of Directors consists of dedicated individuals who are committed to proving strategic direction and support for the needs of the LGBT and allied business community. We strive to provide those services and assistance that our members demand. However, we can only do this if we know what you (LGBT and allied business owners) want and need. Tell us. We exist only for you and only because of you. We will be transparent and open about what we can and cannot offer. If enough members want something we will figure out how to make it a reality. CTGLC is structured to provide for and meet the needs of the diverse communities within our state. As such, we have developed four regional councils: Hartford, Fairfield, New Haven and New London. Each council will plan events and outreach activities specifically tailored to the unique demographics of that region of state. What works in Fairfield County may not work in New London County, so why do it? We will do what works for the groups of businesses in that region – makes sense to me. Thank for the opportunity to serve as CTGLC Board of Directors President. Take the opportunity to learn about our board and council members. Reach out to our Executive Director, John Pica-Sneeden, with your ideas, questions and needs. We are working for you and your businesses. Reach out to any of us if you are interested in getting involved. CTGLC needs you. Together we will continue to grow. Look out Connecticut, the LGBT and allied business community is loud and we will be heard. Honored to Be of Service, Nan Arnstein
